The history of the Stars building dates back to 1917 when it was originally built as a church. From there, it became “Best Foods” and subsequently “Mrs. Gooches” grocery stores.

Today, Stars has become a destination for shoppers from around the world. Located in sunny Hermosa Beach, CA, Stars is known to most locals as “the big red barn”. Inside it’s doors, 65 eclectic antique dealers are brought together under one roof. Featuring a wide spectrum of vintage items and collectibles, like European antiques, California pottery, jewelry, glassware and one-of-a-kind historical items, Stars has no problems filling it’s 7,000 square feet of space.
